One of the more interesting tracks I ran into while taking a weekend long detour through prog rock and prog metal was the following bit by a musician called Plini - "Selenium Forest".
It was a weekend of generally cool music. Heard this off of Eric Raymond's shared "intricate fire" station - not sure entirely what he based it off of other than some Liquid Tension Experiment but stuff like this and a bunch of metal came up.
Impressive. As much time as I spend listening to prog, there's so much more out there.
ReplyDeleteI love neo-prog, but symphonic and prog-metal have prominent spots in my playlist.

ReplyDeleteLaut.fm progman is a good station.
ReplyDeleteprogarchives.com is a great source for info on countless prog acts. They have reviews for virtually every prog album ever.
